As part of the Polestar Pre-owned program, which involves returning selected used vehicles to the partner network, the certificate transparently informs customers about the state and remaining capacity of the battery. Certification of the useful battery capacity in percentage gives buyers confidence that the battery of the used Polestar 2 is in optimal condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since its launch in 2020, the Polestar 2 has received over 20 over-the-air (OTA) software updates, enabling the car to improve over time. Thanks to OTA updates, the Polestar 2 now offers enhanced efficiency, increased range, improved battery management, and support for new features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and popular apps such as Waze and YouTube. This means that even in used cars, the latest software is in use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To receive official certified pre-owned Polestar status, each vehicle undergoes a thorough 112-point inspection at an authorized service center. In addition, Polestar provides independently verified certificates for mileage, service history, and ownership to ensure transparency for each customer. All certified pre-owned vehicles come with a 24-month warranty and the remaining 8-year battery warranty*.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michael Lohscheller, CEO of Polestar, states:<br>\u201cWith our new battery state of health certificate, we\u2019ve added another important reason why a used Polestar 2 is a great choice.
